This was my first synthesizer, and it made it so approachable to learn the basics of subtractive synthesis. A lot of people hate on the slim keys, but I have slim fingers, so it works perfectly for me. I'm also able to glissando effortlessly which works well for my live performances. I have been able to design sounds on this that I haven't heard from anyone else using this machine. I made a harmonium patch that I am particularly proud of. I have also made bass patches on this that are quite usable. It's an underrated synthesizer, for its time. Of course, nowadays for a few hundred dollars more one could get more bang for buck, but credit where its due, this synthesizer democratised analogue synthesis for a lot of folks. I got mine second hand for 350 CHF while on an artist residency in Basel. Still love it.

Any instrument can be a good instrument if you connect with it. Your body eventually finds a way to bond with it and you learn to get the most out of it. Sure, build quality is not ideal, and there's loads of room for improvements. For what it is, though, it's a very affordable entry intro fingerdrumming and triggering samples. I've been able to pull off performances with this and used it in recordings as well. It hasn't let me down.

This is a sleeper hit. Hardly anyone seems to talk about it. It's a gorgeous guitar. I love the matte black finish and how it wears with use. You really leave your imprint on it. It's responsive and feels great to play. The pickups are quite good too. Versatile as an SG gets at this price range. No complaints.

The DML20 was on Omar Rodrigues Lopez's pedalboard. What else do you need to know? Chorus, Flanger, Reverb, Echo, Slapback, and wild modulation, all in one little box that's built to last! Got mine secondhand for 25USD. No complaints.

I got this for about 200 USD from a guitar store I've been going to since I was a teenager. It was the best guitar I tried that day at three different guitar stores. I haven't had a playable acoustic guitar in a long while. I named mine Mellon Collie for how she swells and shimmers around my infinite sadness. A really well-built guitar for something factory produced. No faults to be detected. Very balanced sound, good amount of resonance, good harmonics. Intonation pretty great too. The action once set up and tuned to D standard is great and very playable. Oh, and mine is a 2011-2019 era, Made in China, one with the old Sigma Guitars logo. And the neck is just beautiful to look at, the wood grain, the way they've done it. I prefer looking at the neck than the front, lol. Was never big into the open spruce look, yet this will age and grow on me, I'm sure.
