Totally Underrated
I never see any talk about this box but it's totally underrated. It's an analog drum synthesizer with 5 sounds; Kick, Snare and 3 Toms and it sounds dated. But in a good way. It's not a simmons, not at all. It's less pew pew and more thwap thwap. Excellent for heavier percussion and if you turn it loud enough you might demolish a building. I don't know, I've never tried.
The interface looks like it would be crap but it's actually not bad at all. Programming drum sounds is pretty easy and it has individual outs for each sound. It doesn't have midi so if you aren't a drummer (I am not) you have to trigger this differently. You don't have to just stare at it and wish you were a drummer, a beatstep pro drum trigger outs or 808/RD-8 trigger outs would work. Can also trigger it with short percussion audio, like a rimshot.
