Description

A very affordable guitar with great looks, expanded tonality, and playability

The Rogue Rocketeer RR200 combines the features of Rogue RR100 guitar with a basswood body for excellent tone and sustain. It is based on a classic design and was built for ease of playability. A sunburst finish and pearloid pickguard offer custom-good looks. The ultrathin, comfortable bolt-on maple neck makes it easy to riff up and down the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ease. The humbucker/dual single-coil pickup configuration with a 5-way switch puts an incredible array of tones at your fingertips and the addition of a coil-splitting via a push/pull pot offers up even more tonal options. A 6-screw vintage tremolo lets you have tons of whammy bar fun, while the die-cast tuners make sure you are in tune every time.

The True Guitars Lovers Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Review - Guitar Space

guitarspace.org

The Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Electric Guitar is a solid starter instrument for beginners, offering a stylish design and versatile tones thanks to its humbucker with coil-splitting capability. However, its budget nature shows through with subpar single-coil pickups and unreliable hardware like the tremolo bar. While it excels in genre flexibility, it lacks the harmonic complexity expected by more experienced players. Overall, it's a decent entry-level guitar for those exploring different musical styles, but those seeking a more reliable upgrade might want to look elsewhere.

Great guitar for the price

When it comes to affordable instruments, you can't beat Rogue. After owning and playing this guitar, I can honestly say that this is one of the best guitars for the money. Better than a Squire, in my opinion. The HSS configuration and addition of a push-pull pot makes this an incredibly versatile instruments for many genres. The stock pickups are sweet and clear, and the humbucker is one of the hottest sounding pickups I've ever heard. My only complaint is that the neck pickup can get a little muddy sounding at times, but sometimes that plays into it's favour. All in all, I'd give this guitar a 10/10 or higher on any given day. ~Mike
