Equipped with a Mega CD control function, another CDP-CE515 or CDP-CX200F can be connected as a cordless handset through the control A1 terminal and operated from the main body and remote control. The Mega CD Control allows two devices to be linked together to cross fade alternately. You can also choose between 30 seconds, 60 seconds, or 90 seconds at the beginning of a song and play it one after another in an up-tempo New Cross Fade Play.

The tray features a CD roulette system that allows up to five disks to be placed on the tray for program play across the disks, and a disk exchange function that allows new disks to be placed in an empty tray.

The D/A converter is equipped with a hybrid pulse D/A converter.

It is compatible with CD text. It is possible to display alphanumeric characters on the display part of the main body, and to display Chinese characters in addition to alphanumeric characters on the text display unit CTD-S100 (sold separately).
