This thing is a beast. If you get a chance to play on one of these things, go check one out. They are a little bit pricey for the brand new synth player, but very affordable if you are already in the hobby of collecting synths. This thing makes some great sounds, and you can pretty much make entire songs on this thing with all of the tracks and sequencing features. My favorite synth so far.
There's not much I can say about this that everyone doesn't already know, at least in the world of synths. This is a staple of synth music and many bands use this synth.
This thing was so easy to pick up and start making music on. They really did a great job making this. The sounds are hit or miss, some are great and others are just so-so but the ability to import samples makes that a non-issue
This is great for making rap, R&B, club and hip-hop beats. It also does do things like rock and techno beats, and what have you, but it's more focused for the other stuff. One great thing is it's portable and you can run it on batteries so you can make beats anywhere you want. I've even used this flying on a plane.
I searched high and low for a MIDI keyboard that was 1 - affordable, 2 - was USB powered, and 3 - had MIDI inputs and outputs. This successfully achieved all 3 of those items I wanted in a MIDI keyboard. Some people say it feels "toy-like" (I've heard this in a YouTube review) but I strongly disagree. I think it feels heavy and well built. This is a great bargain.
This is a great audio interface. I can't really complain. I got this over a decade ago when I was in college for an audio design class, and it's held up this day. Now I'm using it to record music onto my computer. It seems to work just fine for that.
I use this free recording software for all of my recording needs. The best part is it's free!
This is my favorite DAW. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Been using this since around 2002-2003.
This is an amazing virtual synth. I find myself using it time and time again. You can get it for free or a low price, whatever you want to pay - but if you have the money please support this company and their synth. And at the very least, download and try it out - it's truly amazing!

The controls and interface are somewhat confusing, not much to read on but that's generally the case with small mini synths. However, the sounds are top notch
Quite surprised at how good it sounds for how inexpensive this thing is
My mom got me this guitar when I was in high school to play in the Phoenix punk rock band called S.T.D. - it was played in quite a few shows, dragged all around town and went through quite a beating. Very sturdy and well made electric bass guitar with good sounds too.
This is a good mixer for the price, but it is small and doesn't have a lot of outputs/inputs (if you have a lot of different instruments like me). It is also sort of on the cheaper end, and I've read reviews of it breaking over time. Mine has still held up though.
edit: After 5 years of use, mine seems to be starting to die. It is making a lot of static feedback on synths I have plugged in, but when using the synths direct to headphones it sounds fine. I think It's time for a new mixer.
