This has a very comfortable neck, and the combination of LP-style electronics and Strat-style trem make for a very versatile instrument. I ended up installing a Hipshot drop-tuner and a Seymour Duncan JB on it to tailor to my tastes, and now it's even more versatile.

DISCLAIMER: I have the Mach 1 model. Packed with features and sporting way more power than you'd expect an amp this size to have; I bought my Mach 1 back in 2012 and it's been my #1 amp ever since.

Everything from slapback to long ambient echo, as well as those crazy dotted-eighth cascading repeats you hear on Buckethead's "Big Sur Moon" and Paul Gilbert's "The Echo Song".

7 semitones of pitch shift, plus full octave down for imitating bass AND an octave down + dry signal. I use it mainly for Eb, C Standard and the O+Dry settings, and no longer need extra guitars if I want to play non-standard tunings. Sounds better distorted than clean, and with a bit of EQ to tighten the Lows and boost the Highs a bit; run first/early in your signal chain!

I didn't want to pay $100+ for a tuner, so I was shown this pedal. It's built well, has a bright display, and does what I need it to do. Money well-spent!

Flatter, more ''open'' EQ response than a TS-type overdrive, with great bite and a PILE of volume. Classic rock on its own, or a vicious kick to the front end of your amp.

Absolutely vital for taming the noise/buzz/hum high-gain tones and/or single-coils can produce; this should be considered as useful and important on a board as a tuner and an EQ.

Got a rig you *almost* have dialled in? An EQ like this will likely solve all your don't-quite-have-it issues. Also useful as a boost, either in front of an amp or in its FX loop... just pair with a noise suppressor, if you can.

I love the switchless, optical wah-wahs - quickly adding some sweep to a part on a whim, without having to hit a switch, is glorious. The boost feature helps beef the signal you lose when using it, and the Q control helps fine-tune the sweep to your taste. Absolute winner!

6 different flavours of modulation means you'll never tire of this pedal. It won't completely sound the same as certain classics that specialize in one effect, but unless you want more than one modulation effect you won't have to swap pedals on and off your board when you want something different. Expression pedal option is a tasty bonus that I've never used.

This pedal has a massive amount of volume boost. It works great as a kick to your amp's front end, but it's even better as a foundation overdrive on a clean or slightly hairy amp; then, kick IT with another drive pedal for sonic distruction.
