(30:58 minute mark) - Harris is proud to have two of Malekko pedals in his board, because Malekko is made in Portland, Harris' hometown. He describes this pedal as "a great bass overdrive".

(34:00 minute mark) - This is Harris' most important pedal. He uses this pedal for attenuation, because his Malekko Diabolik and B:Assmaster can get incredibly boosty at times.

Although Harris relies on a direct signal and uses in-ear monitors, he has an Ashdown ABM 1000 Bass amp with a matching cab onstage.

In the Premier Guitar Rig Rundown video for Bloc Party, at the 24:38 mark, Justin Harris mentions that during recording sessions, Kele Okereke frequently brought a Gibson RD Standard Bass to the studio. The bass, dating from the mid-70s, was slightly too long for its gig bag, leading to a bent tuning peg.

(31:51 minute mark) - Harris uses this pedal for songs which have mild overdrive in it, not fuzz or distortion pedal. It has the nice overdrive to it.

(32:21 minute mark) - Harris has no idea how he got to this particular pedal. This pedal was built on basis of Jaco Pastorius' bass fuzz sound.

(21:13 minute mark) - Harris has the 1976 Fender Precision Bass. 15 years ago, this bass was stolen from him, but his friend subsequently found this bass in Craigslist. It was stolen in Portland and found in Portland as well.This bass has the tortoise pickguard on it, unlike the black pickguard which was usual for 1976 P-basses. Everything on this bass, except the pickguard, is original.

(33:17 minute mark) - This pedal, according to Harris, "messes up every single signal you get through". He uses another compressor pedal for this pedal.

(30:14 minute mark) - This pedal is used to normalize the signal, which would usually get cut down by Malekko B:Assmaster and Malekko Diabolik in his pedalboard.

(33:44 minute mark) - He uses this pedal for the songs he wants "less bass, more treble-y sound". He also has drive and boost programmed on the presets.
