Bass Guitars 3

Effects Pedals 4

This is a very cost effective buy because with this pedal you don’t have to waste two slots on your pedalboard for fuzz and wah; for true Cliff Burton tones, crank your amp and make sure your bass or guitar’s pre-gain is up all the way. This pedal also sounds a LOT better on high quality amps (I recently upgraded from a Fender Rumble Combo 1x15” to an Ampeg Classic SVT 810e and the difference is STAGGERING.)

Amplifiers 3

This thing’s most important knobs are definitely Character and Blend. You can go for a mellow, punchy, 70’s Precision style to an overdriven, fuzzy tone reminiscent of Motörhead or Muse. That being said, the knobs are very sensitive (which is good) and I reccomend taking some time to really dial in the right sound.
First thing is holy SHIT this thing is absolutely massive. Bigger than you’re thinking. It’s also incredibly loud so it’ll definitely give you a tonal edge to compete with your drummer. I bought one of these new, and they’re beautiful out of the box. Worth every penny. If you’re gonna buy one I highly reccomend giving Ampeg your business, plus you won’t have to settle for a really beat up, scruffy looking used one. 10/10 cabinet.
