Years ago, my parents were hugely against me getting this. I got it anyway, wanting to actually BUY my first guitar. Since then, it's been the best investment i've ever made. I've actually owned guitars at nearly double the MIM's price-point and it still stands strong. It hasn't let me down for 4-5 years, I couldn't recommend this guitar enough!
A plus is its simplicity and it's made in a strong metal enclosure. There's nothing necessarily wrong with it, I just would've liked to have seen an additional footswitch input to get a simpler way of using undo/redo etc. But I guess that's what the 720 looper is for.
Got this secondhand, without trying it and when I got to sit down and use it, I was in love. Turns out I love tubescreamer-esque sounds however this offers so much more. My favourite pedal of all time to this day, I'll hold onto it for as long as it'll last me.
For a couple of years now, I've been dragging this on a trolley over incredibly rough pavements to my gigs in Cardiff. With it being valve and such, I was expecting it to die quickly with how much of a racket the trolleying was creating. However, this is still working to this day! The reverb tank busted which is no surprise really with it being the most fragile part of the amplifier. Other than that, it's perfect! I love it. I've tested it against the blues junior, I found the AC has a more 'open' sound and I think the cabinet really helps with that. I would say if it were lighter, it'd be better! However if that changed the tone in the slightest, I would refuse the change. Wicked amplifier!
