The delay effects sound fantastic and sometimes
this synth shines like nothing else in my collection.
It has character and I love most of all because of
the saw waves, detune and unison mode. Just fat
and warm sounding. Easy to use, even with just 1
fader and numerical buttons.
The early refections are nice and the gated verbs are ok.
It does some nice things for bassguitar modulation.
This is superb for synths. It adds character and
has a very good sounding modulation section with
2 different waveforms. It also has an effectloop
for adding external additional effects or eq.
I have 2 of these. They are Rolands cheap version of AMS reverb.
Some good sounds in this module from the 80s.
The strings sounds and choirs are great. Sounds
similar to sounds used by New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle.
This module is/was used by Pet Shop Boys.
The module is multitimbral and has 3 pairs of outputs.
Very powerfull for its time.
An awesome 80s 12-bit sampler with mulitple outputs, analog filters and sequencer.
It is also a synth where you can draw your own waveforms, flexible envelopes,
the possibility to connect a monitor and mouse makes it dead simple to use.
And there is a quite fat sounding unison mode similar to the other Roland synths
from that time like MKS-80, JX-8P.
