Same as Tejava Ice Tea - exterminate. Not quite gear related. There goes the questions: are guitars or anything that artist tried considered as their gear or not? I would actually consider, artist played on that piece and should be mentioned as doing so!
Oh and question for gchlaren or michael : how big is exactly equipboard? On the scale of 1 to 72,57?
10yabout 10 years ago
And same goes on for anything that White or Auerbach uses. You will have to pay 10 times more for something that looks like something Jack White used.

Tapco 6000R Channel Mixer is that big white console, Tapco 4400 to the right. I haven't got much knowledge in racks, sorry...

TC Electronic Ditto X2 Looper, far left. The white pedal is Caroline Guitar Company Haymaker, pretty rare because those pedals usually come in green or grey colour.

I've hardly seen someone playing the Gibson Heritage...It's a rare model to see, actually.

That is Gibson Heritage acoustic. It is really weird, but it is very recognizable by looks.

I have no idea why I should be offended.I perfectly understand your motivation and thanks for that! It is hard here. Many right wing politicans still exist here and ideology arguments are still present here, meanwhile salaries are cut and many people are left jobless and homeless. Many people can not find jobs for themselves, and many of them agree to do something like you said (lifting boxes) or something like that for terrifying amount of money. If they get money.

Ai shi riki taj shi riki dan...E! This Ruslana shite goes on and on in my head. Why am I a nerd? He is an awesome guy and Croatia loves him and describe him as "a wacky genius which did the best job hosting the ESC in like EVAAAAA!" It isn't weird that I know him. Croatia knows him.

Cleaning up the "needs review" for submissions
Oh, I'm sorry for being dick-ish at times, I'm really sorry. I'm not a bitter and washed up musician, I'm just a regular boy who tries to make this site better, but I never meant to hurt anyone or something like that. I sometimes get frustrated with false submissions, but I never meant to be a bitch. I am sincerely sorry.

The best thing that ever happened to Germany on such contests is Stefan Raab...he hosted fuckin' awesome shows, knows how to play guitar pretty well, and he also finshed 5th in 2000 song contest! I love this guy, he's so awesome! You must check Croatia's entries. We've sent almost everything on Eurovision, and almost everything sucked major arse, or as our 2013 entry says : "Mižerja", which literally means misery on dalmatian croatian. Of course, check out Ruslana's 2005 entry, Ukraine's Verka Serduchka (2008 I think), and Jedward (OK, that's not eastern, but still...)

Alrighty, I'm in. Do you need any application or something?

I stated with tuning my guitar randomly, by ear, and I have found a lot of cool sounding tunings which can (or can't) be used as a slide tunings too. I always make some riff, but it always sounds like some riff that has been made before. (Last one sounded like "Fortunate Son" though.)
I never knew anything about muscle technique to be honest. I boosted mine on open tunings, considering you need to barre the whole fretboard to achieve the chord. And of course I have tried those jazzy/samba/bossa nova chords which are a bitch to play, but there will come the time you will master playing those chords and laugh to the other beginners with question : How can't you play that???
The sad part is that I have never been in a band, and when I play with others, I always use ear protection because my ears are extremely sensitive to the loud noises. I am called the best guitarist in the school, but I don't understand what people consider under that. Playing Dorian, Lydian and pentatonics are considered for being called the best guitar player? Yeah, I doubt, haha. I never considered myself a good guitarist - just like Noel Gallagher said, "average at fucking best".
I never took any formal training, because it costs terrifying amount of money for terrifying small amount of lessons provided (around 100 bucks for once a week training by a guy who never did anything significant and learns terribly). I bought myself a guitar and started like that. Now I got an electric, and I hope to get some kind of professional guitar and amp when I master the electric too. Considering my setup is pretty simple, I never took any huge lessons about maintaining my beauties. I use lemon oil for my fretboard, while some people say it damages it, I really fancy the effects of it. It makes it even smooth to play! About electronics knowledge, well...no. I would need lessons for that, or I would have to learn it myself again.

Oh, they've won the last place last year? Haven't noticed that. I fancied Lena a lot when she won with "Satellite", and I also liked the Nicole, and Walter Schwarz, who was there back in the 1950's, I think. It is bullshit, but still, I watch it for 13 years, and why not now? I really like Zdob si Zdub in previous entries and Lovebugs back in 2009...they were for Switzerland, but vocals fucked up seriously - probably the reason song didn't won...

If you are living a bit more east-ish in the world, you would see that we are in a huge crisis here. Yeah, you might hear journal reports about how things are getting better, but nah... Summer jobs are unavailable here, I do volunteering work only, but that is mostly for helping with lessons, giving out instructions et cetera... I hardly got a guitar for 100 dollars and later Squier for a bit more than that.
10yabout 10 years ago
So, how often do you use alternate tunings when you play your or others' songs? I used DGGGGD recently, it is awesome to mess around with!

How to get this sound? - Post here to get ideas on how your favourite band gets their sound.
I think he uses somewhat the same technique Johnny Marr used to record the slide part on "How Soon Is Now?". If you are familliar with it, of course. He probably had some kind of boost pedal, this is a very good and strong sound. I don't think octave pedal is used here. He tuned the B string down to A#, I think, and he played those 2 strings together and he got the sound. I think that is an alternate tuning...

Definitely! I need some effects, I'm sick of clean and drive tone... You know, I wouldn't be making such a fuzz, but it would be a great boost for me to have effects. I feel so compressed and I'm wahndering if there are any effects to buy... My volume feels so boring, and reverb.com offers a good selection of pedals, although I have no money for that.

Thanks for ruining Bernie's dreams, though... My favourites are Georgia, of course, and many rock lovers would consider Georgia as a possible winner. Too bad Eurovision has a lot of generic stuff going on.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftDB6D7RXso
If you ever consider Georgia, look at 2:06 for his setup, but I don't think those are real pedals, could be replicas depending on how weird they look. Whammy, POG2, Synth, Wah...madferit! I don't like Croatia (my country) on the Eurovision this year...but I hope for a good place, considering those Croatian dickheads of a songwriters basically blocked her entry because German songwriters wrote the Croatian entry.

The fourth state is actually a really good idea, although I might be sceptical about it. I'm sure the Equipboard needs a lot of deleting and changing sources and everything. This is a lot of work to do, especially because of those individual guys that fucked up on so many levels.
I can't do moderating if you're already asking for someone, I'm sorry. I have no idea how to haha...but, yeah, I'm sure you'll find some interesting people that can be mods.

Strymon El Capistan here, next to it there is Boss PS3 (not a PS2 because this one has darker blue colour), Turbo RAT there, maybe an EarthQuaker Aftermath im the left side, Arc Crimson King and Xotic SP compressor are the only ones I could find.
Yes, he includes the SP regularly, just like the El Capistan, I think. Why is it lame? To me, it seems like a decent setup- with extra punch needed. I think he uses EHX Soul Food on that.
10yabout 10 years ago
Yellow Boss pedal on the top-right is the AC-3 Acoustic Simulator. Far left side, two white Boss pedals with red and green knobs. Those are LS-2 Line Selectors. Pedal just to the right of the LS-2's is the old paint version of the Seymour Duncan SFX-01 Pickup Booster. The text on it gives it away. See the Boss pedal on the top-left side? The one that says "DELAY"? That's a Boss DM-3. Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ powers them all. No idea what that one on the top-right side is, though.
That is some kind of Radial box. RDI maybe?

If you insist, then I will do so. I'm unfamiliar with capo recognizing, as well as accessories. I found a photo of Mike Longworth's pedalboard, and so far, I have recognized everthing exept Boss tuner. (And the amp head.)
Is that the TU-2 or TU-3? And there is Kruse amp, but the text which reveals the model has been covered with something.
