After mods it will djent! Quite good budget 7 string. I have the 2007 version with modded pickups. DiMarzio's D-Activator (bridge) and Blaze (neck).
Have this with Gotoh Tremolo and Seymour Duncan pups Sh 8 on bridge and SSL-4 on neck.
I have those with Sh 8 Invader on bridge and with Dunlop Straplocks, its an amazing guitar for heavy riffs
