Yes, of course you get all those Nirvana's sounds. But this instrument is capable of so many nuances, you'd be surprised: the glorious SuperDistortion on the bridge, while obviously performing greatly on crunch, distortion and fuzz, is also clear and mildly scooped on the mids, a real pleasure on clean sounds. The PAF at the neck is actually the real surprise on this guitar, warm and punchy but with a fast attack almost single-coily, turn the (tiny, I must say) tone knob just a little and you can play anything on that, even jazz! Build-wise, it's very solid but like all Jags and Jazzmasters, will need a little time setting it up before you can use the vibrato and have it go back in tune. The neck is fantastic and the binding on it is awesome.

I never thought this thing could sound so good. You can seriously go into a D.I. and from there to the PA and no one will ever think you don't actually have a proper amplifier. The cab simulation is really on point, and the pedal WILL save the settings for both its channels. I give it 4 stars because it has a little but annoying flaw: when switching between channels there's a half-second lag that makes it something you don't want to do in between a song. Overall really cool.

It's not one of those squashy in-your-face compressors, it tends to act more like a big amp with a little volume, hence some natural compression. Which is good, don't you think? Also very effective as a clean boost. Not a big fan of the fast-attack switch, but it's cool to have it.

I had it since two years, it's fuckin' broken and I live in retarded Italy where no one seems capable of putting their hands on a fuckin' analog pedal.

LMAO it's a footswitch, it's cheap and works greatly, I used it on Eventide stuff and now is plugged to my DOD Rubberneck so I can access the Rubberneck time-stretchy thing, activate or deactivate modulation and activate the Regen function. I love Digitech.

This thing kicks ass - on paper at least. 1,5 seconds or so of analog delay, the Rubberneck function (basically delay time doubled or halved at the press of a switch), eq on repeats, a handy switch for triplets, depth and speed of modulation completely customisable and so on. But after a little while I started finding some flaws: the effective usable delay time is roughly 800ms, after that it will start introducing noise and artefacts. Still a decent delay time, but you have to remember not to use the Time knob to its full extent. Modulation can be anything but subtle, and at higher delay times it will behave unpredictably. The optional Digitech footswitch will be assigned to modulation on/off, to the rubberneck function and self oscillation (or a decrease in repeats); both these functions are also available by holding down "effect on" for the Rubberneck and "tempo" for the feedback thing. Too bad you can't do both on the external footswitch, which is basically a must since the rubberneck function will increase repeats and, should you not increase repeats at the same time, you'll basically "run out" of repeats before the effect can be heard. All in all it's an interesting pedal, but I swapped it for a more basic Memory Man Deluxe and never looked back.

This thing cracks me up. It's so heavy I'm considering keeping it in my bag as ballast, or improvised weapon if... WHEN that so much feared zombie invasion will begin. It could'n be more 90's: the overall Terminator look, of course, but more precisely the switch KRAZY with the letter K, like yo we're so alternative dude, and one of the modes is labeled WACK'D! And boy is it wacked: in this mode the flanger will sound almost like a ring modulator, while the chorus will melt in a seasick-inducing swirl. What really sets this pedal apart from many boutique pedals or old glories is the simple fact that both chorus and flanger are time based effects, and the folks at Ibanez decided to let the user actually ACT on that delay time, thus making the pedal infinitely versatile. I swear, if it wasn't for its bad connectors (which translates on a slight but perceivable loss on the higher spectrum) I would give this five stars.

Esthetically pleasing, built like a tank, one big knob and one switch, not a bad sound in it, no way. Buy a 2$ adapter for the crappy mini-jack power connector and you're set. The switch is hard and loud, so everyone will know the exact moment you activate or deactivate the pedal. It's almost a sound on its own.

Ok, you'll need a pedalboard almost only for this pedal. And some time home learning how to get decent sounds out of it. And a band who loves you for who you are, that won't bother you with silly questions like "why don't you buy a synth instead?" or "is it supposed to be this horr... ehm, peculiar?". Yes, it's supposed to, bitches! As long as you stay on the left side of the MODE selector, things are going to be easy: you'll get lush filters and very usable sounds, rhythmic tremolos, and oh, the Comet Trails! It will trigger the Omar Rodriguez Lopez within you! Past noon you'll step in a world of synth strings and hilariously bad tracking synths that will keep you both scratching your head in "how am I supposed to use this sound?" and sincerely amused. The possibilities are endless once you plug in an expression pedal, and this way you'll also get a very nice sounding wah, thus freeing up some pedalboard real estate. To cut it short: Omar Rodriguez Lopez uses one. JOHN FRUSCIANTE uses one. Are you better than these two? (No, you're not) Then it can work for you.

Best money ever spent. This delay has got ANYTHING: Digital, analog, warm, reverse, glitch, warp... and the abused shimmer is one of the best I've ever heard. Settings are very easy and there's basically not a single bad sound in it. Add to this it has a switch for trails, it's stereo I/O and it goes around 140$.

I read a lot of people have problems updating and yes, the whole TC update system sucks hard and the Music community assistance should seriously s*ck my d**k really hard, bunch of useless, lame motherf*ckers... Back to the pedal: I updated it and it got stuck on the final stage of update so I waited like one hour and then decided I would not have spent my life there and unplugged it with a bestemmia. The pedal works anyway, and man it is a fine looper! The audio quality is awesome, don't let those corksniffers tell you otherwise, the FX section is pretty usable and this thing has MIDI connection, making it actually useful in a band or with a synth or a drummachine, rounding up your sloppy playing. This means your guitar loops will stay on metronome forever, now you have time to go look for each and every Musictribe member and f*ckin' kick their a*ses.
