Still worth it!

Aboslutely worth the hype, this one. Great tool for placement during recording or mixing (doublers, pitch shifters, modulation modes). That's what I use it for. But it also has verbs, delays,... This is a very complete multi-effects unit for any studio. And a great allround asset with options to dive into parameters to finetune everything. But still with an easy enough interface to still be creative during production.

One of the best guitars I've ever played

This amazing FGN Odyssey was made in Japan in the Fujigen factory (known for their legendary Fenders in the 80s and 90s). The aging of the guitar was realized in Germany at Fran of Lak Guitars. This beautiful guitar was limited to 20 instruments worldwide.

Basswood body, maple neck and fingerboard, two Lindy Fralin Blues Special single coils and a Lindy Fralin Humbucker Pure P.A.F. This guitar is the absolute real deal! It sounds and plays like custom shop aged stratocasters at a great pricepoint.

Such versatile, much beauty, very neckdive.

One of the most realistic splittable single coil humbuckers out there. Great sound, and in my opinion even better looks. This is truly something else. Great Duesenberg quality, their tremolo bridge is just perfect and is very OK with tuning stability. Only downsides is it has some neckdive and the upper neck fret access is not that great because of the kinda reverse jazzmaster shape, but other than that : it plays really comfortably.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Neck: single coile, Bridge: humbucker and then use the middle position for cleans. Sounds absolutely magical. Push the pickup switch setting to bridge and you have an instant chunky mid forward humbucker sound. Very sweet!

If it's good enough for John Lennon, it's good enough for me.

This is a great guitar for the money. The neck in particular feels very nice, it sounds awesome and it is very well built! I have the vintage sunburst made in china version and it blew me away.

Very good amp tones

This is a very responsive, very versatile replacement for an amplifier. Sounds just like the real thing and has an amazing dynamic range.

Cool

This bass with old flatwound has such a specific and cool sound that reminds you of the beatles bass sound, but less boxy. I use it DI into a preamp and play it with a pick to achieve a nice and round percussive bass sound.

Absolutely amazing

6 great reverb algoritms (3 more classic, 3 modern) with a lot of tweaking options. This unit just has it all if you want a powerful reverb pedal in a small package. The addition of presets makes this the perfect reverb pedal for me to use on stage as well as in the studio!

Preferred Settings + Usage:

The BFR setting (big f***ing reverb) is just heavenly!

More versatile than expected

It's a great sounding condenser microphone at a great price point. It's very versatile and has the U47 sound characteristics.

Pocket size, lovely sound

This kind of parlor guitar sized Breedlove is a great guitar. It's a small size that packs a great sound. What you would expect from Breedlove: quality!

More versatile than expected

It is a saturation unit, it can be used as a lofi kinda filter, you can also use it as a tape chorus/flanger effect (adjusting the motor speed and with the wet/dry knob you can create this effect). It's also great on the mixbus to give your tracks the attitude they deserve. Play with the wet/dry knob and have fun!

The absolute best workstation ever

This piece of gear is the ultimate overlord end-boss of all the keyboards/workstations out there. The options are endless and the quality is outstanding. It doesn't get much better than this. Little hint: if you buy a new one: download the white grand patch from the nord website and replace the other XL grands ;) Cheers, MST

The older units are awesome

I got one of the older units, they still put in good op-amps back in those days. Sounds cool, way better than newer Behringer units imo.

Bluesmachine

What a great guitar to play and write blues with. My 1966 Stella just screams blues. Great for studio purpose as a lofi acoustic or an acoustic double. Pronounced mid tones, no twangy topend or crazy sustain, but a lot of mojo!

Klon Centaur exact copy

This pedal must be the best Klon Centaur copy ever made by any company. It is the EHX soul food modded by JHS pedals and they did a killer job. There's 3 different voices (one of them original soul food and one of them sounds exactly like the original Klon) and an extra bass contour knob. Best transparant drive pedal i've ever played.

1176 in a box

MXR must really love the old UREI 1176 devices used in studio's worldwide. Because this is exaclty that, but in a stompbox. Works great for both guitar and bass. Love it!

cheap and awesome

This is a microphone from Thomann's own brand. They're super cheap but this microphone sounds amazing. Great to use together with an SM57 for recording a guitar amp.

Vintage Stereo

Great mic. Sounds very real when used for piano/drum recordings. Misses a little bit of air and sub.

Transparant Overdrive

Probably one of the most transparant overdrive/distortion pedals I've ever used. No matter how high you turn op the gain knob on this one, you'll keep all the clarity and definition in your playing. Lovely pedal!

Just amazing

The Minilab MK2 by Arturia is one of the best phurchases a starting producer can do. In Europe, it's only 99€ and it includes amazing software like ableton live lite and the analog lab (lite) by Arturia. It's great for playing live electronic music and has an amazing build quality for the price.

Outstanding

Great for both rock, metal, pop, funk, ... The rockerverb is a really versatile amp and it is just amazing!
