Its a fun guitar I have a 1972 stella H6130 this is the closest to it
My guitar is in pretty good shape the short scale makes it easier to play and it has a unique sound compared to my other guitars I would say im a intermediate.
I got this stella because I wanted one like Jesse Welles because I thought his was cool.
I would say its pretty good build quality. Its been around for 53 years so it going to have chips in the paint the action its pretty low too.
I didn't isactly like the bat wing pick gard so I just took it off and its all better.
Stella guitars typically had ladder bracing so it gives it a unique sound compared to X bracing wich is more common people say it gives it a bluesy tone to it i typical use it for recording country folk and blue grass music.

What a great guitar to play and write blues with. My 1966 Stella just screams blues. Great for studio purpose as a lofi acoustic or an acoustic double. Pronounced mid tones, no twangy topend or crazy sustain, but a lot of mojo!

Seen in a 1993 promo photo. Also used on “F.O.D.” from Dookie and was recently sold in 2019.
"I found and bought this and the Harmony Stella while on tour with the Cellabration. They were both in the same vintage guitar shop hanging out together…they felt like siblings and so I bought them together. On days off we would hang out in parking lots and grill veggie burgers, set off fireworks and pass these around playing and singing songs. They are some of my fondest memories with that band." - Frank
Justin plays here a Harmony Stella acoustic guitar (although I don't know which model).
"People who knew Johnson (like musicians Johnny Shines, Robert Lockwood, Honeyboy Edwards, Calvin Fazier, William Moore) said he played Stella and Kalamazoo guitars"
At 23:21 in the YouTube video "EPIC HOME STUDIO Setup 2022 | Butch Walker (studio tour)" by Andrew Masters, Butch Walker is seen showcasing a Harmony Stella guitar as part of his extensive guitar collection in his home studio.
