I mean it's pretty much the main synth I use anymore.

Since it came out, I just don't see a reason to live without using it everyday anymore.

My main monitors for 7 years

These are no joke. I don't know if I'm doing them justice by saying that, but I revel in their lush sound reproduction ability. Playing mint Gershwin records in the showroom through these is what made me bust out my wallet. They have been prominently displayed ever since, and are shamelessly and largely responsible for any hearing damage I've since incurred.

Pretty clear, budget monitors.

These were my fallback monitors for a long time. I bought the matched pair for $200 on Amazon from a studio that was refurbishing their crap and kept them in a box for a while until I moved into an apartment. That was that, and my normal monitors were too loud for the neighbors.

I don't think I can say much more. They eliminate the need for a sub, and are awesome for the price. They're used in AES schools for a reason!

Jacob Collier made me buy this

What more is there to say? I love the dude and I wanted a 5-string to play the stuff I was trying to learn at the time. This instrument is in rotation now and I will never regret it.

Legendary must-have for any bassist.

It's usually "do you have a J-Bass or a P-Bass?" Well, I don't care because this was the bass for me.

My first guitar has also withstood the test of time.

The guitarist from At The Drive-In used this guitar on their Jay Leno show. I saw it and went and got one and started playing. Having come far with my musicianship, I merited an upgrade because I only recently realized I overpaid for the thing. And that's why I stopped going to Guitar Center.

If you like the rough, trashy sounds - this is your guitar.

It is still the only guitar I use for rock/metal.

Good card for the price

This is my handy-dandy fallback card and secondary cheapo card. I use it while on the go and when I have guests in my cave. I don't let people touch my main card, because she is my wife. This one is the concubine or whatever. She is more public.

The pres aren't that great but it gets the job done, and for the price was unbeatable until Zoom entered the market with their UAC-2s, which I hear people raving over constantly. If it ever dies I will bury her in the family plot and replace her with a UAC-2.

I love this card with all my heart

I want to marry this card. I've had it since it came out and was all over it. They say love at first sight doesn't exist? Pssh.

I call it "Slow Tools"

I'm Operator certified in Music and Post Production for Pro Tools 10 and hate it all.

But I use it for editing nasty bits of audio sometimes. I've been in forensic audio before and had to use it over Goldwave. With the advent of Pro Tools | First, I might give it another go. Generally it has been trumped by me in every field except recording and editing. it is by far the most powerful and professional in those areas.

Downright unparalleled for scoring, in my eyes.

The systems Nuendo offers are phenomenal competition to production-focused DAWs like Ableton. People will generally agree Pro Tools is the best for recording, and worst for production, but you can do both really easily and really well in Nuendo. For compatibility's sake, it's the best in my eyes.

I mean, it's what makes my world go 'round, right?

I don't know if I would even be writing this if I didn't have Ableton. I use it for everything.

Crucial to my productions

God, what would I do without Komplete? I still have my 8 hard drive somewhere.
