The Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop Pro is praised for being a stunning and sonically impressive guitar that rivals more expensive models. Users appreciate its value for money and versatility across genres like rock, country, and blues. A real standard!

When I exchanged my blue burst Epiphone Les Paul Standard, I found myself in deep regret after like 5 months. So, few weeks ago I just bought a another Les Paul Standard (Plus Top Pro), now in Honey Burst finish. And yes, once again it is a great guitar that perfectly covers my need for humbucker guitar to go hand to hand with my Fender Telecaster. Epiphone really nails it with their Les Pauls.

A really good Gibson alternative for the money

Let's start off with saying this. Mine is a 2015 model with Gibson burst buckers. The pickups were included when I bought it. after saying that, this is genuinely the best LP I own. The only thing I don't like is how the necks are thinner than there Gibson counterparts. That complaint has been somewhat remedied by the new Epiphone "inspired by Gibson" line. Honestly I would seek out a 2015-2016 LP custom just because my SG and LP are from 2016 and 2015 respectively

Nice guitar

I currently own a 2014 and it's a great sounding guitar. Besides, the coil splitting feature really makes it a versatile instrument. The only negative aspect is that it's heavy as can be, but I guess that's the norm with LPs.

mersenne

My first guitar has also withstood the test of time.

The guitarist from At The Drive-In used this guitar on their Jay Leno show. I saw it and went and got one and started playing. Having come far with my musicianship, I merited an upgrade because I only recently realized I overpaid for the thing. And that's why I stopped going to Guitar Center.

If you like the rough, trashy sounds - this is your guitar.

It is still the only guitar I use for rock/metal.

Nice for beginners

Bought it in 2014 when i began playing guitar. The electronics are sufficiend, but nothing special. I changed the bridge-pickup through a DiMarzio DP-100CR.
