Sakura can reproduce the delicate pluck of a single string, a violins bowing or the sonorous resonance of a grand piano. Most importantly, the curious musician can take control of every aspect of the simulation to create fantastic instruments. Ever wanted to know what a 20 foot guitar sounded like? Or a bowed piano? Now you can find out, Sakura opens up a world of string modelling possibilities, why not download the Sakura demo and try it for yourself. The Sakurazensen is coming, be there to experience it.
Virtual modelling in Sakura follows a 5 stage hanami-process : Contact - An impulse, the mechanical contact with the string, is first generated then shaped to simulate plucks, picks, scrapes, hammers, taps or humble fingers. Vibration - Sakura’s dual string model then gives the operator control over a wide range of parameters such as damping, tension, positioning and string properties. String interaction – The dual strings are then mixed, panned and enveloped to simulate interactions. Resonance - The string/s vibration then interacts with an 8-resonator ‘body simulator’ to create the size, material and shape of the instrument Acoustics - Virtual acoustic space is then simulated with chorus, delay and reverberation effects.
Terms : Sakura: Japanese for Cherry Blossom. Hanami: The custom of enjoying the beauty of Sakura. Sakurazensen: The Sakura-front as it moves across Japan with the developing season.
System requirements PC: Windows XP (SP2), Vista, Win7, Win8, Win8.1, Win10 - (32 & 64 Bit) 2Ghz AMD or Intel Pentium 3 compatible CPU with full SSE1 support 512Mb RAM. 30Mb free disc space. DirectSound or ASIO compatible soundcard.
Mac: OSX v10.7 (Lion) G4 1.5 GHz or Intel Core Duo family. 512Mb RAM. 30Mb free disc space. CoreAudio drivers.

The Drumaxx percussion modelling instrument gives you total control over 16 physically modelled drum pads that can be routed to independent outputs for external effects processing.
More than just drum samples.
Great, but why should you care when the internet is awash with drum samples? In two words, expressive control.
Once a drum sound is recorded, the performance and modulation options are limited to filtering, volume, or similar 1-dimensional effects.
When a single drum sample is triggered in a roll, you get the familiar 'machine-gun' effect and it just sounds mechanical. Multi-sampled, multi-layered drums can overcome this limitation but need multi-megabyte or even Gigabyte! drum libraries. Even then, you are still limited to the sounds originally recorded.
Modelling algorithms for better sounds
Drumaxx is not based on samples or even commonly used 'synthesis' techniques, where oscillators are mixed and the result is always 'electronic'.
Drumaxx uses modelling algorithms to create bass drums, hi-hats, snares, realistic and electronic sounds too. But what about the traditional 'Achilles' heel' of synthesis, cymbals? Drumaxx creates cymbals and metallic percussion also.
Good physics stuff included
At the core of Drumaxx is a model where the vibrating membrane is represented as a mesh of interconnected points. Each point is given physical properties including mass, inertia, stiffness, damping, and all that good physics stuff. For the musician, this means
Drumaxx gives you control over multiple parameters such as material, thickness, tension and shape. More importantly, the parameters can be modulated in real-time as a function of velocity or external controls. The drum body is also under user control too, including body material, size, vibration damping, and shape. All this gives you multi-dimensional performance options, a Matrix of variables providing nearly infinite possibilities.
Key features: Cool interface 16 Physically modelled drum pads Multi-output for individual effects processing on each pad Huge range of modelling possibilities covering sounds from cymbals to kettle-drums Velocity modulation matrix for detailed expressiveness Integrated Stepsequencer with trigger-key playback Integrated effects Single-pad version 'Drumpad' available for tight integration with FL Studio
Content 130 drumkits 900 drum patches 200 drum patterns
After:
Drumaxx can generate everything from bass drums to snares and hi-hats. The core of the sound generation process is a "delay matrix." The matrix is excited by a "Mallet" impulse then mixed with a "membrane" response which allows Drumaxx to simulate various resonating materials with user-defined tightness resonance etc. After that the matrix (drum matrix) is processed with low middle and high frequency filters also there are 2 master effects - a distortion and a limiter is applied.

Get a lethal dose of sounds from this 4th generation software synthesizer.
The team at Image Line is known for making some incredible music production software for computer based studios, and they've improved upon their amazing line of Toxic Software Synthesizers. Toxic Biohazard is the 4th generation in that line, and is loaded with the best, and most incredible features of the previous 3 versions, plus lethal enhancements like an optimized sound engine, "physical" envelopes that have real life modeling of sounds with real world decay and resonance, and a pack of new effects like reverb, phaser and more. Toxic Biohazard features a hybrid synthesis engine, combining the best of FM and Subtractive synthesis. With the addition of a warm, analog-modelled filter and set of built-in effects, the Toxic concept remains one of convenience, simplicity, and superb sound quality.
THE FM TECHNOLOGY
Thanks to high-resolution DSP processing, the Frequency Modulation engine produces sound with an extremely low noise threshold; something that most FM engines cannot offer. The Toxic Biohazard sound was built from the ground up, from unique mathematical calculations and analog-modeling techniques.THE OSCILLATORS
Completely alias free, and well tuned for all sampling rates, they produce a rich, "fat" sound all across the spectrum. Due to the high quality of the anti-aliasing process, you will not encounter the shredding noise on high frequencies that has plagued FM synthesis in the past. Furthermore, the oscillators are calculated at extremely high speeds, keeping your CPU usage to a minimum. Toxic's low CPU consumption gives you plenty of room for external processing and running multiple instances. The oscillators also come equipped with Maxx Claster's own powerful spectrum analysis technology. This allows you to create your own waveforms, via the simple process of loading a WAV or AIFF format sound file. All of these features make the oscillators very flexible, and allow for use of both synthetic and acoustic waveforms within Toxic. Each oscillator also comes with 32 built in ˜classic' waveforms, each shown to be the most useful in FM synthesis.THE EFFECTS
Made to assure high quality and flexibility are built into the synthesizer itself, Toxic Biohazard aims to reduce the need for external processing altogether. The effect modules are designed to give the user access to several types of effects, from aggressive, tube-like distortion, to warm stereo delay, reverb, flanger, and phaser effects. With Image Line's own pro-quality tape delay emulation, based on non-fixed delay buffer sizes, instead of the usual methods incorporated within digital delays, this delay line gives you warm sound, with "true" feedback and modulation. Lastly, the signal chain features an analog-modeled, parametric equalizer to further shape your sound. The EQ provides access to crisp, clear high-end definition, creamy mid ranges and earth-shaking low-end frequencies. The Toxic Biohazard effect module expands its palette of sound to include everything from dark, atmospheric textures to razor sharp leads, fit to slice easily through any mix.THE FILTER
Maxx Claster's own analog-modeled, multimode filter is reminiscent of a certain silver box of old. Garnishing a warm, resonant Low-Pass mode, a smooth Band-Pass setting, and a creamy High-Pass mode, Toxic Biohazard gives a wealth of control over tone. The filter is further enhanced by modulation via a dedicated envelope generator and low frequency oscillator, as well as responding to velocity information and keyboard tracking. These features allow for extreme sound shaping, as well as subtle nuances attributed to dynamic playing.THE SEQUENCER
Powerful, yet simple, the sequencer offers a total of 64 steps, which can be divided into two independent, 32 step modules to allow double-polyphonic patterns. Using Image Line's "Smart Sequencer" technology, when a chord is played, the module defines that chord, and tunes the pattern accordingly. The sequencer also allows for pure playback of the programmed sequence from single notes. Simply holding one chord can virtually create an arrangement for you. After:

Order knob A higher order setting will increase the order of the filters used by the phaser, creating a more pronounced effect with more peaks and troughs.
Cutoff knob Sets the cutoff of the filters in the phaser, moving the peaks and troughs in the audio spectrum.
Depth knob Adjusts the depth of modulation of the cutoff.
Rate knob Adjusts the rate of modulation of the cutoff.
Spread knob Adds a phase offset for the cutoff modulation between the left and right channels, for a stereo widening effect.
Mix knob The dry/wet mix of this effect. A lower value will let some of the unmodified signal through.
Settings panel Whenever you have your mouse cursor over a snapin there is a small arrow at the top right corner (not visible in screenshot). It opens a settings panel where you handle presets.
It also has a "randomize" button that can be useful. I guess...
Enabled checkbox The small checkbox to the left of the plugin name is a checkbox that bypasses the effect when disabled.
Resize handle The bottom right corner of all Kilohearts plugins is a resize handle for scaling the UI to any size. This allows you to get a good view of the controls whatever the screen resolution, and also comes in handy if you need big controls, e.g. when using Phaser as a real-time effect on a touchscreen monitor during a live set. (This is not available when the snapin is used inside a snapin host.)

Phase Plant offers four signal generators. You can add as many as you like and route them freely between each other. There are several types of utility modules to allow you even greater freedom in designing your sound such as groups, mixing, and aux options. For each group you can add an output module to send the sound to the effects chain, or you can use a group only as a modulation source for FMing any other generator. That’s right, Phase Plant allows for frequency modulation between all types of signal generation!

Magnatic Tape Emulation Software
We took a journey back to the Golden Age of magnetic tape recording. We wanted to recreate all kinds of tape machines in software, from the ground up. After many months spent on research, measurement on developing an architecture that would be flexible enough for the job, we knew we had nailed it... But we couldn't stop there: We added the old noise-reduction systems that were often (mis)used for timbral compression effects. Then more heads a global feedback path, which made an uber-tape-delay realistic one-shot tape flanging possible.

Twangström: Shake, Rattle, and Roll
A flexible spring reverb box-of-tricks. If you're familiar with Bazille, you might already have come across its built-in spring unit. We took that one, then modelled two more reverb tanks, paired it with drive section, filter stage, envelope, and mod matrix. It emulates a hand-picked selection of the most popular units you will find in classic guitar and instrument amplifiers, recreating the odd character of real springs.

Modern Bucket Brigade Delay Device
A virtual analog effect inspired by classic bucket-brigade delays (bbd), but extended with modern features. It is named "Colour Copy" because it can deliver the kind of coloration people still love in classic bbd units, but with a wider variety of colors. "Colour Copy" started life as the little delay unit called "Lyrebird" built into the U-he Repro-1 Synth, but the sound was too good not to be developed further to become its own independent FX plug-in.
