Michael P. Naughton, aka, “Mr. Shade” of ’92 in the Shade grew up in Detroit. He studied guitar with the MC5 guitarist. Michael also studied classical guitar. He played in the Detroit and L.A. clubs as the lead singer and lead guitarist. He launched '92 in the Shade in 2020.
