Gorgeous and super drippy reverb
This is one of the best spring reverb ever made. It's super drippy and sounds awesome for blues. It's not as high fidelity as the Strymon Flint or the El Capistan but it has a vintage esque to it which is great. Most people will keep the TONE really low as it may sound really bright but it will kill the lush reverb and kills the sparkle too. I normally keep the Mixer below 9 o clock while the tone around 3 to 4 and dwell below 11. This sounds really good with blues . For more modern sounding reverb, I would use the Walrus Fathom instead. I love the simple control layout and the classic look to it. Such a bummer Boss decided to discontinue this pedal.

All time favourite blues acoustic guitar
The L-00 True Vintage is absolutely awesome. The thermally aged adirondack spruce top and bracing does make a huge difference in term of the guitar tone and volume. I could strum it hard and it gets louder and louder without losing clarity; it’s hard to outplay it and it can sound pretty loud for a 00 guitar. The tone is smokey and slightly mid focus due to it’s size.
The huge chunky V neck needs a little time to get used as I am more used to modern neck profile but it’s certainly worth adapting to.
The built and workship is pretty good as it’s a custom shop model. VOS finish does make the guitar looks much cooler and worn in.

John Mayer in Box
The title pretty much sums it up. Lovely pedal and does Mayer “Gravity” tone pretty well. It's my always on clean tone. This Mk 2, this has lesser boost/volume even on Std “ rock “ mode, sounded much more balanced and refined as compared to the previous generation SS. The MK1 seems a little too boomy at times, especially on my 68' Custom Princeton Reverb but I do wish it comes with a tad more boost and fatness. However, the built quality seems really well made and the size, as well as the top-mount jacks are really pedalboard friendly. The small gain and filter know could be a little hard to see at times but would be an easy fix. The SS stacks really well too with the most OD or distortion pedals. All in all, it's one amazing pedal.

Boost + Reverb
There are better boost pedal out there. The cream knob added boost and a hint of mids to the sound. This pedal also comes with room and hall reverb as well which is hidden on the side the pedal which makes adjustment cumbersome. I prefer the reverb function more than the boost function to be honest. It has an internal trim pot for you to adjust the unity gain on the pedal.

It scratches your tele itch
My first electric guitar . Had it for more than 20 yrs. Mine is the earlier version of Mexican Std comes with top loading bridge and the body was made out of 5 to 6 pcs of poplar wood finished in candy apple red. I think the newer stds are much better made. The original pickup sounded rather blad and doesn’t have the tele twang. Swap it out with a Dimarzion Twang King bridge and Duncan Vintage Tele Rhythm pickup and it brought the guitar back to life .

Impressive pedal ..Zepplin in a box
Love the Superbolt . It much more versatile than I thought . Sounds really good as a boost , being stacked or pkayed on it’s on. The OD / distortion is very in your face and does sound like your amp speaker is on the verge of exploding lol. This pedal simply love telecaster specially on the bridge pickup. Zepplin tone for days !

Amazing Hardtail Strat
This is my first 'real' guitar and I had it for almost 20 yrs. I bought it with my first paycheck and I was not disappointed. I have always been a fan of hardtail strat and Fender lineup has always very limited ( when it comes to a hardtail ). I tried the American made Highway 1 as well as the American Std but this Cray seals the deal as it has the mojo even though it has the stigma being Mexican Made. The neck shape is really comfy and doing away with the wiggle bar and trem block, this guitar stays in tune really well even with heavy blues bends and a tad lighter than std strats which is good. The pickups sound really good especially in position 2 and 4. I have upgraded the plastic nut to bone, shielded the pickup cavity, added a treble bleed and replace the caps to oil in paper and this thing sounds even sweeter. I am tempted to get another one and swap out the pickups for a different sound.

The Overdrive is SMOOOOTH !
The Vertex Ultraphonix is amazing. I got it after I bought the Steel String and I love that pedal lots. It's my always-on pedal as it has that special sauce makes my clean tone sounds much better. The Ultraphonix on the other hand is my dirt channel and it covers the rest of the spectrum. The OD is very smooth and dynamic with a mild mid bump which is great for soloing. It response to your guitar volume knob really well too. You may nail the Larry Carton or Santana tone easily with it and it stacks well with the Steel String too. Certainly one of my fav OD out there.

Indeed a SUPER Chorus
The Boss CH-1 is simply Superb. The chorus sounds amazingly good and clean while retaining the warmth even with the Eq max out. It may not be as lush as the CE2w nor being able to do the Leslie speaker effect but I would say it has its own charm. The chorus on the CH-1 has a certain sparkle which I really like. It doesn't have the volume boost when it's engaged which is a plus point too. The built quality is second to none and certainly the most value for money chorus pedal out there. Can't go wrong with a BOSS.

Amazing Overdrive with huge flexibility
Had this pedal for almost a year now, it's really versatile. It can be used as a clean boost, overdrive to mild distortion. The EQ is amazing too and the built-in buffered or true bypass option is a sweet touch. I can't vouch how accurate it sounds as compared to the original Klon but this pedal sure sounds good with either single coil or humbuckers guitar. Highly recommend this pedal.
