Description
The Gibson L-00 True Vintage acoustic guitar is a masterful homage to the iconic sound of the 1930s blues era. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this guitar captures the essence of a bygone era, offering modern musicians a chance to experience the legendary tone that once resonated from Chicago's smoky clubs to the intimate porches of the Mississippi Delta. Its small-bodied design not only delivers a punchy and expressive midrange but also makes it incredibly comfortable to play, whether you're fingerpicking intricate blues riffs or strumming soulful ballads.
Constructed with a solid Red spruce top and premium mahogany back and sides, the L-00 True Vintage doesn't just look timeless; it sounds it. With each strum, you get a taste of its rich tonality, where every note rings with clarity and depth. The vintage-style bracing and distinctive wide "V" neck profile ensure that this guitar is as authentic in feel as it is in sound. Even the hardware—vintage "Relic" tuners and a 1930s-style open slotted bridge—stays true to its roots, offering a tactile connection to the past.
Perfect for the musician yearning for an instrument that tells a story with every chord, the Gibson L-00 True Vintage is not just a guitar; it's a piece of history brought back to life.

All time favourite blues acoustic guitar
The L-00 True Vintage is absolutely awesome. The thermally aged adirondack spruce top and bracing does make a huge difference in term of the guitar tone and volume. I could strum it hard and it gets louder and louder without losing clarity; it’s hard to outplay it and it can sound pretty loud for a 00 guitar. The tone is smokey and slightly mid focus due to it’s size.
The huge chunky V neck needs a little time to get used as I am more used to modern neck profile but it’s certainly worth adapting to.
The built and workship is pretty good as it’s a custom shop model. VOS finish does make the guitar looks much cooler and worn in.
