Description
The JHS SuperBolt V2 is a versatile and dynamic overdrive pedal, designed to recreate the iconic tones of '60s-era Supro amps. This pedal offers more than just vintage rock tones, it’s a versatile tool that allows you to explore a wide range of sounds. By simply tweaking the Drive and Tone controls, you can easily transition from the gritty, cutting edge of classic rock to the smooth, mellow tones of Chicago blues.
The SuperBolt V2 goes beyond being a simple overdrive pedal. It also functions as an amplifier with its volume control acting similarly to that of old amplifiers, providing a tube rectifier-like sag as the Drive control is turned up. The pedal also internally converts 9V to 18V, offering a high level of headroom and a punchy output.
The JHS SuperBolt V2 also offers two footswitchable gain levels. By pairing it with the JHS Red Remote, you gain access to the pedal's higher-gain settings on the fly. This feature is like having two SuperBolts in a compact, pedalboard-friendly package. The LED changes from blue to red, indicating the status of the boost circuit.

Impressive pedal ..Zepplin in a box
Love the Superbolt . It much more versatile than I thought . Sounds really good as a boost , being stacked or pkayed on it’s on. The OD / distortion is very in your face and does sound like your amp speaker is on the verge of exploding lol. This pedal simply love telecaster specially on the bridge pickup. Zepplin tone for days !

Nails the Zeppelin I sound as advertised
I wish the red remote function were for a db boost instead of a higher/lower gain setting, but other than that I love the sounds it makes!
I actually own a custom clone
For the price I got the clone for, it sounds like it so I'll put it this way. As a second stage drive or preamp, you can't go wrong.
