They are confortable.. and the sound that comes out of them is really deep !
The low end is very present and loud. I would recommend to use it for mixing until approx. 70 Hz. It will do the job for Mid and Hi range, (very linear characteristics, because of the 250 ohms impedance... well it's a studio headphones) but in my opinion they are not suited for this kind of use
I was so excited when i buyed this little peace of dream.
Haters gonna say there's nothing in comparison to an mpc, or maschine.. but fuck them
I use it to play live drums, trigger samples.. and it does the job very well ! Modify the sensivity of the pads, assign the knobs and faders to what you want is really a dream
The only synth I really know quite well...
Like Massive, it's really orientated to get some dirty EDM sounds, but the chillest guys round here could find something what they want too ^^
A nice knobs/slider controller. The interface with ableton is really useful for many many things that I haven't even thought about ! Mapping everything with 8 users presets is really useful.
Therefore it's not cheap... but it worth it definitely
This soundcard has everything i need. Phantom inputs for my mics and symmetrical line inputs for my KRK monitors.
The main thing about it is that there's two phones output with for each of them one volume knob. It makes it really easy to switch from one headphones to another while mixing.
This is really my favorite EQ. I ve tried many free EQ before that, and it seemed that they always had colour to the sound, which could be then difficult to mix. The processing is very professional though and can not be applied to filter effects as well.
This is actually the most complete sampler you will find in 2015. What I like is the fluidity and the somplicity, which makes you able to achieve fantastic things in less than a minute.
I wouldnt go deep on what the software do or not do. This is not the right choice for electronic music (although made by Roland...), but will be definitely the right soft for bands then it has a very good console emulation (tape saturation.. compression).
A very good point is the plug ins that come with the software (Melodyne, Zeta 2 , Rapture and other good E-Piano emulators as well).
Since i ve decided to do mainly electronic stuff, i m giving it up for the moment.
I was pretty impressed to see what this little thing can do. You can use it as a rubber pad (well sensible to velocity) or as a 2 octave keyboard: the buttons are placed exactly like any other keyboard, so it s very easy to play chords.
Also the buttons are sensitive to tilt, so you can use anyone of these as a modulation wheel and the way its done is simply amazing ! Very useful are the toggle function and other midi implementations, for exemple to permit to change channel while playing.
The Qunexxus is so flat and compact that I can take it whereever I want (On the plane for example where people were looking at me and the illuminated buttons). The only con is that there is no knob or fader on the device... I really miss them alot.
Anyway great acquisition, and great job to KeithMcMillen team .
