Interesting and pretty but...
soon after I bought it the connection between the unit and its USB cord became unstable and it would flick on and off while I was using it leaving me frustrated and abandoning it. I have rated it as if the cord had worked as it was a decent portable MIDI keyboard but nothing special except 25 touch-sensitive keys that will detect finger pressure, velocity, and tilt and polyphonic aftertouch...okay that is rather a lot...maybe if the connection had been stable I would give it 4 stars.

THE midi controller
I was pretty impressed to see what this little thing can do. You can use it as a rubber pad (well sensible to velocity) or as a 2 octave keyboard: the buttons are placed exactly like any other keyboard, so it s very easy to play chords. Also the buttons are sensitive to tilt, so you can use anyone of these as a modulation wheel and the way its done is simply amazing ! Very useful are the toggle function and other midi implementations, for exemple to permit to change channel while playing. The Qunexxus is so flat and compact that I can take it whereever I want (On the plane for example where people were looking at me and the illuminated buttons). The only con is that there is no knob or fader on the device... I really miss them alot. Anyway great acquisition, and great job to KeithMcMillen team .

Sturdy and versatile controller with customizable features
It's sturdy, the keys don't feel cheap or slippery, and it has its own software editor for you to tweak the function and feel of it. And it can do MIDI or CV. The light-up keys are a nice touch, too. :)
