Great comfort and sound

Sounds good and has great comfort, but I do have to take them back for a refund because I got a broken used pair :(

I still recommend them though!

I got my second pair, and my first thoughts are "man, these are comfortable!"

The sound is isolated (obviously because they are closed back) these cans are really good when you burn them in.

The sound is as flat as a board. and it sounds pretty clear and nice.

Great for mixing and mastering.

10/10 would use again.

Headphones are a very very personal thing, like a pair of gloves. You have to try them on, make sure they fit, are comfortable after many hours, and of course the like sound. These are extremely detailed and 3-dimensional. They are on the heavier side, but ear cups are huge, padding very generous around ears as well as the headband. these are pro studio headphones. They are overbuilt. The sound Is sonically colored; but in a very pleasing way. They have much more Bass than, say AKG's, but it is truly a matter of taste. The bass isn't sloppy, and is really deep. If you like the sound of BEATS phones, look elsewhere..they aren't similar. I have owned these for 2 years after have tried compared with numerous other competitors. Every time I put them on I smile ! I had a pair of Sennheiser 280's aa while back for many years before they literally disintegrated. this isn't a bad thing, since they were used DAILY, but here's the caveat...You can't order any parts form the factory and replace them besides earcups padding and cable. with the Beyers EVERY PART can be purchased and replaced. Lastly, for everyday use get the 32 or 80 ohm versions. The 250 ohm will work just like 32 and 80 and are somewhat more accurate, but to appreciate this you need a dedicated headphone amp ...so if you get the 250 ohm you will need to turn up the volume a lot to equal the volume level on lower ohm versions. AVOID the 650 ohm version unless you plan to always use them with a headphone amp ! Hope this helps

Closed headphone, the low range is perfect, the mids and highs are a bit lifeless. I use it for mixing the low end, because my studio quite small and no proper bass sound in it.

Great Recording headphones!

spend a little extra money for these as opposed to the Audio Technica's, these are far more comfortable and very durable. These have slightly better sounding quality then that of those of the audio technica's but not enough to make a big difference. I use these primarily to record vocals and instruments but are good mixing as well but I would recommend open back headphones for that!

Best studio headphones for an affordable price

These are the best headphones I had for now, I study in an audio engineering school and most teachers and students have it and enjoy it. Pros: -Close to neutral (it has a little bit of boost in the low frequencies) -Very comfortable on your ears (and I have a big skull) The only cons are: -You can't put it down your neck cause it's very uncomfortable so not recommanded for a live DJ or filming usage -It needs a good amplification because of its high impedance (250 Ohms, too high to use it with a smartphone for example)

Love them

Comfortable and built to last. Sound is pretty flat so useful for checking my mixes when working in an untreated room. Whilst they're really comfortable there is no compromise on sound isolation so I don't run the risk of bleeding into a vocal mic.

Beyerdynamik - DT770 Pro (250 Ohm)

The Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro (250 Ohm) studio headphone is a reliable and robust headphone that is great for recording drums & vocals. The frequency response is not linear and very bass-heavy. A headphone with "fun factor", but not intended as a reference headphone for mixing.

Good sound for this price but cable unchangeable. Also plastic could be better.
