FL Studio is very simplistic. I learned it without watching a single video or tutorial. However, the simplicity of the software eventually becomes a bit of a block. MIDI channels are not easy to assign, and automation becomes a hassle. FL does provide free updates for life. So if you want a good software without breaking your bank, this is the one for you.
