Andrew Horowitz
Andrew Horowitz's Keyboards and Synthesizers
In the photo, Andrew is seen playing a Yamaha S90 ES on stage in 2008. The S90 ES was his main keyboard after having switched from his Kurzweil PC2x in December, 2005.
At 0:17 in this YouTube video, Andrew Horowitz shows the keyboard and talks a little bit about his history with the keyboard and why he was (at the time) trying to sell it. This keyboard is also visible in several early Tally Hall live photos until he switched keyboards in December, 2005.
The first thing I'm gonna put up is my keyboard from the early days of Tally Hall and from the early days of me having a keyboard. It's a Kurzeil PC2x, it's purple, I used this on all the early material and on the first few tours. It was too heavy for me eventually and I switched to a different keyboard. Since then, it's been sitting at my studios, and it's been played by all sorts of amazing artists, and I use it to this day.
In this 2006 concert photo, Andrew Horowitz is seen with his Alesis Ion. He would sometimes use the Ion as a vocoder on live performances of Taken For A Ride.
Visible behind Andrew in this photo of his home studio.
Seen in the attached art for the 2019 Sketches 3d bonus track, Grandpa is Hiding, likely was also used in the actual song.
Visible in 2022 Instagram post of Andrew's Nashville studio. Nord were also tagged on this photo.

At about 3:25, Andrew can be seen using this synth for the song Never Meant To Know.
In this YouTube video (likely originally uploaded to tallyhall.com in 2005/2006), Andrew Horowitz can be seen using the MicroKORG to record the vocoded vocals for Taken For a Ride. The MicroKORG can be seen at 0:27, when the camera moves upwards and zooms out. The placement of the knobs on the synth confirm that it is a MicroKORG.
