In an Instagram post, Brad Wilk is seen using a Ludwig Black Beauty snare drum during a session at Studio 606, highlighting its impressive sound alongside vintage Ludwig drums and Paiste cymbals.

Brad Wilk, the drummer for Rage Against the Machine, used the Pearl Free Floating brass 14x6.5" snare drum for the entire recording of the band's debut album. This is confirmed by Wilk himself in a video by LautenAudio, where he recounts being instructed by producer Garth to choose a snare drum from Guitar Center, eventually selecting the Pearl snare because of its loudness and cutting tone.
