From Brian Nash's memoir: "I already had a Roland JC-120, the 80s amp, and a few pedals, but the guitar sound I needed would have to be more processed than it had been during the last Frankie gigs we had done. I bought a Boss pedal board that had seven interchangeable pedals controlled by a programmable 'brain' called the SCC-700. It allowed me to turn on four or five pedals at once in many varied combinations, as well as boosting my output for any solos."
