FS: These are all the same kit?
CA: All Saturn kits. We did "New American Gospel" and the Burn The Priest record with a Pearl Prestige Select kit. So I went from there to the Mapex a little later. Everything after 2004, the bulk of my kits around the world have been Mapex Saturn kits.

Chris Adler used the Mapex Black Panther 14x6" Matt Halpern "Wraith" Snare Drum while recording with MEGADETH, as confirmed by Adler himself in an interview with Blabbermouth. He explained, "Right away, that was funny. Because the first thing, when Dave called me to come and do the ['Dystopia'] record with him, I came in with my normal LAMB OF GOD set, with the snare drum, and we started playing a couple of songs. And within maybe a song and a half, he's, like, 'Listen, you're playing great, but that snare drum does not fit MEGADETH.' And so we went and actually used the Mapex Wraith, the Matt Halpern drum, on the MEGADETH record, which fit in much better to that kind of sound."
Chris Adler uses the Mapex Chris Adler signature Black Panther Warbird Snare, as confirmed by a video from Mapex Drums on YouTube, where Adler discusses his artist-inspired Black Panther snare drum.
