Vater says he uses it
In a November 2014 issue of DRUM magazine, it was noted that Tim Alexander used Vater Percussion Grip Tape during his tour.
In a 1997 advertisement, Tim Alexander is shown using the Tama TWA Tama Starclassic Brass Snare.
Tim Alexander uses a Tama Star (Maple) drum set, as confirmed by TAMA Drums, which lists his setup on their official artist page.
In the September 1993 issue of Modern Drummer, it was documented that Tim Alexander used a Pork Pie Custom Drum Kit before transitioning to Tama. The kit included sizes such as an 18x14" Gong drum, multiple Octobans (6x30", 6x15", 6x20", and 6x25"), Rack Toms (8x8", 10x9", 12x10"), a 16x14" Floor Tom, a 22x18" Gong Tom, and two 20x20" Kick drums.
