Chris Aiken's Gear
Chris Aiken, renowned for his role as the bassist in the punk band Strung Out, uses the Squier Chris Aiken Precision Bass Electric Guitar in Olympic White, as showcased in a YouTube video by Fender titled "Chris Aiken on his Squier Signature P Bass." This signature model features a basswood body, a modern "C"-shaped maple neck with a 34" scale, and 20 medium jumbo frets. Notable for its unique design elements, it includes a white-framed maple neck and a mirrored acrylic pickguard. The bass is equipped with a Duncan Design PB105 pickup and a HiMass bridge with four brass saddles, emphasizing its robust sound and build quality.
I caught up with Strung Out members Jake Kiley & Chris Aiken while in Australia touring their latest release Transmission Alpha Delta to see what gear they rely on during their high energy live shows.
At 11:07 Chris says he used it on the last album and is using it currently on tour.

In the live performance video "Strung Out - Nowheresville w/ Travis Barker Live at Musink" by Fat Wreck Chords on YouTube, Chris Aiken is seen using an Ampeg SVT-810E 8x10 Bass Cabinet alongside a Fender Bassman head.
