A user-uploaded photo in BeatRoute magazine reveals that Debbie Googe used an Aria Pro II CSB-450 Cardinal Series Bass Guitar as part of her live rig in the late 1980s, and it was likely featured in studio recordings from the same period.

In the clip of 'Only Shallow', Debbie Googe seems to have somekind of a Fender, or FSO Precision bass. Judging by the pickguard, it is a P bass and not the Jazz bass special PJ currently on the page. I can't really recognize an exact model, but it is a 4 string precision type bass, not a PJ, with a white body, maple neck, and a black pickguard. It is probably a fender, but the logo is unrecognizeble in the video.
