Doja Cat's Microphones
It's a Telefunken CU-29. I didn't even know that. It's a CU-29, that's the kinda mic I has.
Throughout the performance, we can see Doja using the White version of the Telefunken M80. I identified the item by looking at the logo and characteristics of the mic. At 0:28 and 3:33, you can see a logo similar to Telefunken's logo. At 0:50, you can that the mic has a small dent going along the side of the mic which is also present on the Telefunken M80. You can also see that the mic also has the "Telefunken" inscription written across the microphone grill.
In This Short, Doja can be seen with a Telefunken U47.
In a video titled "Doja Cat creating music in her studio | IG LIVE | 11/26/22" posted by The Kittens Room on YouTube, Doja Cat is seen producing music during an Instagram live session, with the Shure SM7B microphone prominently positioned in front of her.
Producer Rian Lewis confirmed on Instagram that the Lewitt LCT 240 PRO was used to record Doja Cat's track "Won't Bite." He noted, "I thought it sounded great and we cut the song 'Won’t Bite' on that mic that day," highlighting its effectiveness in the studio setting.
