"I take great pleasure in introducing my new signature stick from Regal Tip - The "Sobelizer"....that's right...the Sobelizer! A year in the making, this is the stick I officially rock out with. At 66 grams, it lies somewhere between the weight of a 7B & Metal X. More mid & top-heavy for those FAT backbeats but also not too much for the more finesse type playing and busier drumming."

Before he switched to DW, he was a Mapex artist.

"Mapex Saturn. That is what I have been playing since the start of this tour. And what they set me up with, 2 bass drums: 22x18", we've got a flying 10", you gotta love that, that took a little bit of getting used to but, this gig needs a wide array of tom sizes, so 10 down to 18. We've got 10", 12", 13", 16", 18". I got the 16" on the left, makes things more interesting

"We got the blade snare drum. This is a great snare Mapex has been making. It's a steel 5.5x14" drum and it's the same version as the machete which is an inch deeper and we started using the machete, now we're using the blade. We're just keeping it fresh, mixing it up."
