Holger Czukay confirmed his use of the Telefunken M10a Two-Track Reel-to-Reel Console in an interview with Electronics & Music Maker from 1982. In it, he states, "I am working in three studios at the same time. Everything starts in my own studio — it's a simple 2-track studio with very old machines. I've been using the Telefunken M10 which I consider to be one of the best machines ever constructed! It's a Rolls Royce recorder, with just two speeds, but it weighs a ton."
