Javier Soto's Gear
Fender American Standard Stratocaster
Solid Body Electric GuitarsIt's a Fender Stratocaster with two humbucker pickups and a single coil in the middle. Soto started playing it in 1985 until he bought a white Stratocaster in 1987. It appears in the music video for "El Hombre Medicina" (1993) and he also used it in the recording of "Sesión Vermú" in 1997, as evidenced by footage of the recording in the documentary "Por el bien de la humanidad". He recorded "Bailaré sobre tu tumba" and the single "Dios salve al conselleiro" with it.
Fender American Professional Stratocaster
Solid Body Electric GuitarsXabier Soto used this guitar to record "De hoy no pasa" and probably also "Me gusta como andas" alongside the sunburst Stratocaster. In 1987, it appeared in television appearances of the time, such as "Que noche la de aquel año" and a playback of "Diga que le debo." He probably also used it to record "Música domestica." He also appears in the music video "El hombre medicina" (1993).
