The Washburn EC29 has been Cabeleira's main guitar for several decades, playing it in most shows, often from start to end. He owns at least two of them, the other being a black model kept as backup. There are endless videos and pictures of him using either of those, though being notably a shy and reserved person, there are no known interviews where he expressed the reason for his preference of this specific guitar model.
As you can see in the previous picture. Cabeleira has a Evh amp on his rack. This being his main amp on studio and while playing live.
This guitar is used by him in unplugged type live appearances.
This was one of his most used guitars from 1987 to 1989. There's a lot of footage from that time where he can be seen with this rare model. With a HSS pickup combination and a coil split switch.
It is unclear which production model it is due to it's unique specs like having a kahler tremolo which was uncommon. Most of them sported a fender Schaller system.
In the video provided we can see one of the last times this guitar was on stage during the performance of "O que foi não volta a ser".
It's one of the guitars briefly used by Cabeleira. It can been seen during their live performance of "Telecaster".
