John McEntee's Amplifiers
John talks about his pedals and guitar effects throughout the video. Used for the 2013 'Will of Vengeance" tour. Two Line 6 guitar amp heads visible around 6:42 mark.
As per John via Reddit r/Metal: "In the studio and live when I can, I use my revolt Shredder X head. Its Sonny signature amp. some time on tour i use a Peavy 5150 or 6505 head. they are also good for getting a clean but heavy and dirty sound. I also use Omega cabs. they really hold the low end well and have a amazing punch. i have been using my BC rich Special X pretty much for most of my recording and live in recent years. its just a really comfortable guitar for me. beside that i have a korg tuner and i use lava cords. oh yes I also use Curt mangan 13 to 65 nickelwound strings."
As per John: "Back in the early days I used a marshall jcm 800 50 watt head. (...) The Marshall head was to temperamental on tour and it sounded different every night."
