Joe talks about his American P-bass and the changes he's made to it in Pallbearer's Rig Rundown video at 11:30.
"I had an opportunity last year to start working with Fender, which was like a dream for me. Always loved the P-bass more than anything else, played it on a lot of different stuff over the years. [...] It's so great, I love it, really it's like the ultimate P-bass for me. Honestly, the only thing I've done is I stuck the Avedissian pickups in it. I took the pickups that were stock out, even though they sounded really good. Alex, that does Avedissian pickups, custom winds pickups for me and I was like 'I gotta hear his pickups in this bass' and it's been killer." Joe uses Stringjoy strings in his P-bass, his gauges are .140, .105, .085 and .065 approximately.

In Pallbearer's Rig Rundown video, Joe talks about his Meat Smoke:
"I finally just told myself I was like, instead of playing roulette with vintage amps, they would always break when we were on tour, and I needed something I could rely on. And I was just like 'this is just the best amp that is out there right now'. [...] I'm sure I'll go out and buy other amps, but it does everything I need it to."
Joe talks about this pedal in Pallbearer's Rig Rundown video:
"It also has a huge amount of sounds on tap, it has like eight different drive circuits in it that you can use, which honestly I'm probably not even using utilising it even close to what I should be."

"They're pretty chunky for a 4-string, but I like to bend the hell out of my strings."
