A Record Plant Staff Engineer- Jun Ishizeki- stated that he used an AT4050 for most of Kanye's vocals.

“The AT4050 is what I used for most of Kanye’s vocals,” says Record Plant Staff Engineer Jun Ishizeki. “It has a slight but very effective bump in the upper-midrange that’s right where many engineers start to push, so it really enhances the vocal at that critical point. At the same time, the AT4050 is a very flat-response microphone, so you’re always getting the actual sound of the singer, not the curve of the microphone itself. I love that combination.”

In the article, engineer Anthony Kilhoffer says he used the AT4060 for Kanye West. Though this could've just been used to capture John Legends piano recording.

ilhoffer also worked on the Kanye West recording, and found that vocals responded well to the AT4060, but he was ecstatic at the result he got when he used the phantom-powered AT3060 cardioid tube microphone on John Legend’s piano, both for West’s album and for Legend’s solo recording.

My source for this is a comment from a thread called " what mic(s) does Kanye use" by the gearslutz user "PettyCash".

Everyone has at least 1 U87 so that's automatic. C800G, ELA M251.... mics that are probably too expensive for you to consider.

Gearslutz user "Lifted" claims that he worked in a studio that Kanye worked in during Late Registration, and says that he used a Neumann U-47, and a Neumann U-87.

I know Kanye recorded into U47 and U87 in a studio I worked at, God knows what records were those, cause it has been so long ago, I know it was Late Registration album

Blake Eiseman corroborates this, by stating that they used the vintage U-87's.

The one session I worked with Kanye, we used a U87 (vintage). It would have probably been going through a Vintech X73 then into a Manley VariMu.
