In an episode of the podcast Song Exploder, Mark Speer, the guitarist of Khruangbin, discussed the recording process of the song "So We Won't Forget" from their third album. Speer highlighted the use of a Star Instruments Synare, at 15:25, stating, "I think my favourite part is the Synare (laugh) (...) To me it adds so much bounce."
