Luke Gruntz's Amplifiers
In this video is Luke seen using his whammy pedal and his Laney LX35R to imitate a bass sound.
Luke Gruntz acquired the Vox AC15C2 Combo amplifier in 2014, as evidenced by his Instagram post captioned, "The amp that won the west is now in my possession."
In this YouTube video of Cleopatrick playing live at Lowlands, at 3:07, during the song "OK" the Traynor amp head can be seen in a rack unit sitting on a Sunn 2x15 bass cabinet.
He uses an octaver pedal to pitch his guitar down to go out through this amp.
Luke Gruntz has been seen using a brown grill cloth Vox AC30 at live performances, such as in 2019 at Yonge and Dundas Square. In a 2021 interview with Guitar World, he stated,
'I’ve been playing through this Vox AC30 since my high school bands. I've always liked pedals and I think I Googled for like 20 minutes and someone online said that Vox’s handle pedals well. And I love it.'
