Mark Klepaski's Gear
"My Warwick Streamer Stage II bass was a Breaking Benjamin staple," reads the caption to this photo, posted to Mark's Facebook.
This photo, posted to Mark's Facebook, is captioned, "Getting ready... faithful companions, Ernie Ball Musicman Sterling bass and Ampeg Bass Rig."
He is seen using this at Ultimate Jam Night in 2016.
In this photo, posted to Mark's Facebook, an amp cabinet can be seen, and the caption to the post reads, "Getting ready... faithful companions, Ernie Ball Musicman Sterling bass and Ampeg Rig," identifying the cabinet as an Ampeg SVT Cabinet.
Klepaski can be seen performing Had Enough at a live concert with an HS configuration Music Man Stingray at the 3:00 mark. The model he used appears to have a solid black finish, a black pickguard, possibly a rosewood fretboard on a maple neck, and a natural finish on the headstock.
In the video titled "HooGie Walkthrough - Ben and Mark's Gear" by shallowbayTV on YouTube, Breaking Benjamin's guitar/bass tech provides a tour of Ben Burnley and Mark Klepaski's touring rigs. At the 1:20 mark, the tech highlights a racked Ampeg SVT-CL Classic that Klepaski uses on tour.
In a backstage tour video titled "HooGie Walkthrough - Ben and Mark's Gear" on YouTube, Breaking Benjamin's guitar/bass tech HooGie confirms that Mark Klepaski's bass signal consistently utilizes a "Budda distortion pedal" that is "always on". The pedal shown at the 1:24 mark appears to be the Budda Phatbass Bass Overdrive, distinguished by its dark blue color and its application in Klepaski's main bass tone.
In this post, Mark is seen holding the 5 string variant of a Warwick Streamer CT in a high-polish-chrome gloss finish. He just got this bass back as of the time the picture was posted, and this was also the bass that he has used on the first two Breaking Benjamin records. After seeing a few videos of shows he has played with Breaking Benjamin, and the basses he used during the performances, he only used this bass in the studio and probably used it as a backup on tours.
