In a 1990 interview with Vintage Guitar® magazine, Mark St. John described his guitars with Kiss, stating, “Mostly a pair of black Jackson Soloists with Floyd Rose vibratos, as well as a yellow one with a Strat-style headstock. Later, I got a G&L Rampage.” This confirms his use of the Floyd Rose Original Tremolo System.
He is seen playing an Ibanez 2402 live with Front Page. It is identified by the symbols in the middle of each headstock, and the headstock being differently shaped than the Gibson “open-book” design.
The Seymour Duncan Pickups '59 Model is confirmed to be used by guitarist Mark St. John, as mentioned in the Charvel order form for his 1983 Jackson Guitar, visible in the bridge position.
