Seen at 3:24 in the source, he uses the TC-Electronic Flashback Delay pedal during his bass feature in conjunction with his octave/harmoniser pedal to get a very fiddle-like sound. Was gifted to him by fellow Whitesnake member Reb Beach.

Seen at 2:43, Devin uses the MXR Bass Envelope Filter in order to get a more percussive sound out of his bass, often using it in conjunction with a looper in order to get a rhythm for his bass features in Whitesnake.

Seen in a large image in the source, he can be seen holding a Precision bass with the Precision/Jazz pickup configuration, as well as 2 control knobs. It's unknown what model this is or if it even if a production model, so it's assumed to be a custom shop model due to the atypical control scheme.

In this video, specifically at 8:40, we can see him holding his Rickenbacker 4001 Bass, which is quite roadworn and beaten. Other things to note is that he's replaced both pickups with Bartolini Rickenbacker pickups, and replaced the normally white pickguard with a reflective one. In the video, he says he only uses it for sound checks and other things, but more recently he's been seen using it on stage, seemingly becoming his main bass.

Devin owns two of these basses, both from 1971, one in a Walnut finish and the other in a Black finish. Seen clearly at 9:24 and 10:32, these, at the time of the video, are his #1 and #2 basses respectively. The only modification to these basses are replacing the stock bridge with Hipshot 2-Point Supertone bridges.

In several photos on this website, you can see Devin holding a Fender Jazz Bass. He mentions enjoying several other Fender basses, so it's unknown what model or year the Jazz Bass used is. Seen in what looks like Torino Red finish.

Seen clearly at 2:54, the EBS Dphaser Phaser pedal is noted to be used in a few songs for Whitesnake, specifically quoting "Still Of The Night" from the self-titled 1987 album and also in Devin's bass feature.

Seen at 4:12 during the video, Devin uses the Dunlop Bass Wah sparingly throughout his live sets in Whitsnake, as well as during his bass feature. Noted that this is the pedal he uses the least out of all the pedals he has on his board.

Seen in a box of strings at 8:17, you can clearly see the orange labelling for Rotosound Swing Bass Strings, which he endorses and loves. Later, at 10:32, he says that he uses .105 to .045, saying that he assumes everyone uses those gauges.

Seen at the beginning of the video, Devin uses this MIDI Controller to power a Moog Sub Phatty synthesiser, which is off stage. He has this next to his pedalboard so he can go from using pedals to using the Sub Phatty much like a Moog Taurus pedal synthesiser.
