Miko Weaver's Gear
From Roman Guitar's website:
Made for Miko Weaver who was the lead guitar for Prince around the time Prince was doing the Tim Burton Batman soundtrack. You can just barely make out a treble clef under the black paint behind the bridge, purportedly Miko didn't like the "musical note" so it was sent back to BC Rich for repaint. Also of note is the shape of the head stock, very rare to see a BC Rich with that. There is no serial number on this instrument, given this circumstance of build, it is not entirely surprising.
Spotted at 1:54s in Prince's "Anotherloverholenyohead" music video. Prince had Wendy and Miko's Peavey Butcher head and cabinets retolexed with a white paisley print tolex in his "Parade" album music videos. These amps can be seen at Paisley Park in the "Grafitti Bridge"/"Parade" room.
Miko Weaver played a custom Charvel Telecaster-style guitar with Prince in the mid to late 1980s. It was originally cream, and later covered in letters for the Lovesexy tour.
Miko used an Epiphone Emperor Thinline with Prince on the Sign O The Times tour.
Miko used an Epiphone Sheraton with Prince on the Nude tour.
In a photograph by eventONE.es on Flickr, Miko Weaver is shown with a 1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe.
