Nick Oliveri
Nick Oliveri's Bass Guitars
Fender Mexican Precision Bass White model used during Kyuss Lives!/Vista Chino and mostly all Mondo Generator/The Dwarves shows. It is now pretty beat up and the pickguard has been changed to a grey one. It has no volume and tone pots and the seymour duncan quarter pound pickups (spb3) are wired directly to the input jack.
He had a Red Fender Deluxe Active P Bass Special with Rosewood Fingerboard and single-ply beveled gold vinyl pickguard. It was used with Queens Of The Stone Age tours during and after Rated-R

Mondo Generator at this point was a side-project. Derek Myers and Nick Oliveri played in the River City Rapists together, shortly after Mondo Generator was formed, they recorded "Cocaine Rodeo" which was a full legnth, that also featured Josh Homme (While he had Queens of the stone age in the works) So "Cocaine Rodeo" gets put on the shelf for 3 years while Oliveri works with Queens of the stone age and the Dwarves
Nick Oliveri is seen using the Dean V Metal Man Classic Black bass guitar during his performance with Mondo Generator at Hellfest, as captured in a Getty Images photo. The instrument is recognizable by its single humbucker pickup, distinguishing it from the Active Flying V model.
