Nick Reinhart

Nick has a Boss SP-303 as well as a Boss SP-404 on his wall. He has used both live and possibly during recording sessions.

Nick used to have a Boss SP-202 and a Boss SP-303 on one of his pedal boards. At some point he moved onto just a 303 (now up on a stage table) and again on to either a Boss SP-404 or Boss SP-404SX (on a table) live for triggering samples.

Nick uses the Keith McMillen 12 Step to trigger samples off his Boss SP-404 (original “OG” not SX or A). Nick has traditionally used his Boss SP samplers to store parts of Tera Melos songs like keyboard/piano chords, random dialogue, and extra noises.

Nick posted this on his Instagram on 10/20/2020 "first piece of gear i’ve bought all quarantine- mattel synsonics drums. spent $60 on a literal toy so figured may as well make a vid. just a lil improv thing. seller left the goodwill price tag on, respect 😹"

The seller left the Goodwill sticker which says the Sysonics was $12.99.

Nick posted a story on 7/7/2021 of him using the Behringer TD-3 and the Sp-404A on his Instagram account.

In an Instagram post by Nick Reinhart, he is visibly using the Roland SP-404MKII and praises it in the caption: "dang. new sp-404mk2 is great. it goes dummy hard honestly. now there’s really no reason for the 404 world to be bogged down with choppy piano lo fi hip hop beats. those lights!😍 big ups @matt_knightsie you’re a real one mate".
