Noel Gallagher

This photograph comes from MixOnline's article about recording Noel Gallagher's "Who Built The Moon". Judging by the many pedals already known to be in Gallagher's possession (Catalinbread Echorec, Strymon el Capistan) and the mention in the article that he owns over 300 pedals, we can certainly conclude that those were his pedals. One of the pedals that can be seen in the batch is the EHX Freeze Sound Retainer.

Noel has used several ZVEX Lo-Fi Loop Junky pedals on his pedalbaord since 2005, notably to play sound effects at the end of songs. These effects included;

. A voice sample of his daughter Anaïs saying: "That's rock and roll baby" (played at the end of Rock 'n' Roll Star)

. A voice sample from the end of Rubber Ring by The Smiths saying: "You are sleeping, you do not want to believe (also played at the end of Rock 'n' Roll Star, famously at the July 2005 Manchester concerts)

. Audio samples from the start of the Falling Down Chemical Brothers Remix (played at the end of Supersonic in 2009)

Most recently, Noel has started using three Loop Junky pedals on his pedalbaord for the 2025 Oasis Live Tour. These loops being;
